Greater Lansing region residents have a wide array of opportunities available to them. With a booming IT sector and established strengths in advanced manufacturing, bio-based industries, and finance and insurance, we’ve managed to dodge many of the economic woes experienced elsewhere. In fact, jobs in some of these industries are being created at such a rapid clip that companies can’t fill them fast enough. That’s why we’re working to attract new residents with the needed skills – and counting on our area colleges and universities to provide us with some great new talent.
